With the topping of natural silica contents on the finishing end, our products are given the extra strength and protection.

What is the average lifespan of Husk’sWare® products?
On average, it is about 2 years for home usage; for restaurant/commercial use, it would depend on the frequency of usage.
What will happen to the products after using them for a long time? How can you determine that the product is unusable?
The glossy coated surface of the product, known as silica, will fade and turn into a lighter color after a long period of usage, but the function will not be affected.
Do Husk’sWare® products need to be maintained in a special way? How to maintain the products for a longer usage?
Husk’sWare® products are made from natural plant fibres and do not contain any plasticizers. The products must be stored in a cool and dry place. It should not be soaked in liquid for more than 72 hours. Husk’sWare® products are not cooking ware and should not be used under direct contact with fire or cooking surfaces.
Why do Husk’sWare® products look so glossy even if they are made from rice husks?
The glossy surface on the products is called Silica (SiO2), which is a natural substance found in rice husks. Silica helps protect the rice inside the hull from bacteria. We have taken advantage of these properties and extracted it and used it in our Husk’sWare® products, to seal the gap between fibres, enabling them to resist bacteria (i.e. mold/mildew) and heat.
Husk’sWare® products are made from high-pressure thermal moulding production and its smooth surface depends on the mould used. The glossiness, as we mentioned, comes from Silica. It will fade and appear course during daily usage, but will not harm the users or release any toxins..
