We aim to play a part in sustaining our planet. Husk’sWare® products does not contain plastic or any chemical toxins. Our products are certified to be biodegradable and can be decomposed and returned to the soil as fertilisers, achieving a natural cycle for our planet.
Burning rice husks after harvest is a common practice in many rice producing countries. This emits large amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, causing severe air pollution and haze. Instead of disposing (burning) the rice husks, Husk’sWare® found the unique nature of rice husks, turning them into a safe, natural and environmentally responsible material for our green products.
The fibre structure of rice itself is very stable and has great anti-mildew performance. Taking advantage of these qualities found in rice husks, we have up-cycled rice husks and rice by-products into biodegradable and eco-friendly cutlery and kitchenware products.
